I’m Claire Anne Williams, a Hair and Makeup Designer working across film, television, and commercials.

My work is all about designing beauty that tells stories — creating looks that shape characters, build worlds, and bring emotion to life on screen.

In 2021, I made history as the first Black Hair and Makeup Designer named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Hair and Makeup for Media, which included SFX, and I specialise in beauty — crafting camera-ready looks that balance creativity, precision, and authenticity.

I love the buzz of new productions, collaborating with talented teams, and working with all skin tones and hair types to create visuals that feel real and resonant.

Beyond the screen, I’m a published author of Glow Through It — a beauty and hair bible written to support cancer patients in rediscovering their confidence and sense of self through makeup and hair care.

It’s a project that reflects everything I believe in: kindness, empowerment, and the transformative power of beauty.

For me, beauty isn’t just makeup — it’s connection, confidence, and storytelling.

It’s how I bring people and characters to life, frame by frame.
